Children of The Craft is excited to announce two, very special Paint Night Series this Fall!
In September we will try to replicate dreamy scenes from Studio Ghibli, . Then, in November we will dive into the work of master layout and background artist, Maurice Noble.
These paint nights are a fun and laid back way to hone your gouache skills while meeting people from all over the world who appreciate the magic of animation.
Everyone who signs up will receive a private link to a demo video one week before the paint night to help them prepare for the event.
The nights begin with an introduction to acrylic gouache and a quick discussion about the art we are replicating, then the painting begins! We laugh, we paint, we share our work... it's a lovely time. Participants are also welcome to keep their cameras off! How much, or, how little you participate is up to you.
I have my camera set up so you can follow along step-by-step. I do my best to make every piece approachable and set a pace that most find very easy to keep up with.
